Betel is a charity movement, founded in 1990. Since that time, it has been continuously operating in many regions, using various work methods, available and feasible at a given place and time. The primary purpose and message of Betel is to assist the weak and poor and work on the internal development of the serving person. Its main creed is to support the disabled and ill.
Today, Betel consists of: associations, foundation, communities for meetings with the disabled and their families and friends, family communities for the disabled, residential communities for the disabled, protected houses for the disabled, foster family with a disabled person, as well as community for integration with the disabled, communities for elderly people, day-rooms for the disabled, art gallery, holiday houses, clothes sorting room and the editorial staff of the ‘Inne spojrzenie’ radio programme.
We also organize and patronize such events as Peregrination of Disabled People to Jasna Góra, Ecce Homo Award Academy, Stabat Mater Dolorosa Meetings, Iuxta Crucem Tecum Stare Meetings, Fundraising for assistance to disabled and different events promoting the world of the disabled and sick.
